Staying Fit During the Coronavirus

We find ourselves in a lot of uncertainty. Schools are closed, events have been postponed or canceled, it’s stressful. We want to help support our community as much as possible to stay fit and healthy (physically and emotionally) during this time.

If you are local, we are fortunate to have an easy to sanitize space and equipment that we can offer to those whose gym has temporarily closed or who would otherwise like to avoid a group workout environment.

We are offering free 30-minute windows of time for individual use to those who find themselves without a gym to train in (or who know they won’t do an at-home workout on their own). Think it as Open Gym without the lollygagging.

Follow the link below to sign up. You will get access to 6 30-minute timeslots to workout over the next two weeks, we’ll even be providing a written warm-up and daily workout (as well as sanitizer/soap for all the equipment after each use).

If you are not in the Sacramento area or feel it would be wise to stay home, you can still blow off some steam and maintain your fitness at home. There are at-home workouts available free of charge through CrossFit.com, as well as bodyweight and dumbbell workout tracks through subscription logging programs like Beyond the Whiteboard. If you have questions about those workouts or need modification or substitution ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

More than anything take care of yourself! Eat quality food, even if you are stressed, wash your hands, and find ways to connect with people, even if it’s not in person.

We will get through this!
