When the Time Comes

The last two months have been hard. It has been a struggle to take on new roles, to adjust to a new daily routine, and to figure out what aspects of “the old life” need to be maintained, and what can be let go. The future is uncertain, which is scary, but not always bad.

While we are excited to be able to resume face-to-face training, we want to make sure we do it right. The health and safety of anyone who walks through our doors is our first concern. Before the Coronavirus, that meant first-class fitness and lifestyle coaching in a clean, organized gym. Now, it’s all those same considerations plus not contributing to the spread of a virus.

Hopefully, California continues a downward trend of new coronavirus cases and gym and fitness studios will be allowed to open soon. From looking at other “open” states’ health and safety protocols surrounding the Coronavirus, we are preparing for the extra cleaning and disinfecting that will be required. And we are fortunate that being a 1-on-1 training studio will not fundamentally change the structure of our training so we can get back work as usual. In the meantime, we will continue to offer remote coaching, programming and nutrition coaching.

When the time comes to open, we will be waiting with bells on— and a mask and gloves!
